Hala to Shahry Conversion is available to all Hala customers, but is subject to credit approval by Qtel.

3. Where can I apply for this Hala to Shahry Conversion?

Hala to Shahry Conversion is available at any of Qtel's shops.

4. Will I need to change my SIM card?

The customer will NOT need to change the SIM card to convert to Shahry pay monthly service.

5. Will I lose the balance on my Hala?

Any Hala credit balance at the actual time of the conversion (not application) will be credited to the customer's first bill as an adjustment.

6. What do I need to do to convert my HALA line to Shahry?

The customer has to visit one of Qtel shops and fill out a Shahry pay monthly service application form to switch his or her Hala account to Shahry pay monthly service.

The customer has to provide the necessary documentation for Shahry pay monthly service:
a. Residential Customers: Copy of valid civil ID or copy of valid residence permit.
b. Business Customers: Copy of Commercial Registration and Authorized Signature.

7. The Hala account is not under my name, what should I do?

The customer has to change ownership at any of Qtel shops and pay QR 50 (Change of Ownership fees), before applying for Hala to Shahry Conversion.

8. How can I get roaming and/or other additional services on my new Shahry account?

On the application form, the customer must select the additional services that he or she wants to be available on that account.
|

None of the existing additional Hala services will be transferred to the Shahry pay monthly service. They should be requested as new.

9. How long does it take to switch to Shahry?

The Hala account will be switched to Shahry pay monthly service within 24 hours of submitting the application.

10. How will I know that the account has been switched to Shahry?
|

Upon the successful completion of the Hala to Shahry Conversion, you will receive an SMS confirming that the Shahry pay monthly service is now active.
