Please note that it is the customers’ responsibility to
communicate the GSM termination and the GSM number change in order to stop
the Mobile Email subscription.
How to get the service?

Call 111 to subscribe for the service.

You will receive a welcome SMS with the mobile email URL.
On Your Mobile Device
-
Click on the URL you received in the welcome SMS or
launch
the mobile browser on your device and navigate
to the following web address:
https://mobileemail.qtel.com.qa

Enter
your Mobile number, scroll down and click next.

3.Click
OK
to download.

4.Click
Yes to install the Mobile Email.

5.Click
on Continue to start the installation.

6.Click
OK to accept the user license agreement.

7.Allow
some time for the application to activate.

8.Enter
your mobile number for identification.

9.Click
Configure to add your mailbox information.

10.Select
the type of mailbox account to set up:

If you are using a Qatar.net mail account select Qatar.Net.
-
If you are using Gmail, Premium Yahoo!, Premium Hotmail … etc
select Internet Email. Please make sure that you have
enabled POP feature on your actual email account settings before
going to the next step. (for more information about enabling POP
feature, please contact your mail provider).

11.Enter
the details for Internet Mailbox Setup:

Email Address.
-
Mailbox Password.

12.The Mailbox Setup is successful. Click Ok.

You can add configure more mail boxes by going to the options menu in the
Mobile Email application and choosing add another mail box option!

How can I check that my mobile email account is active? |
In
order to check that your account has been properly activated please
log in to the Qtel Mobile Email web page from your PC using your
Mobile number as login and the password that you created during the
set-up.
If you cannot log into the site then re-type your login / password. If
it fails again please contact customer services.
If you can access the site then click on the E-Mail link on the left
menu.
If you can access your email the service is properly activated.
If not please contact corporate customer service. |

if the time zone is properly set on your mobile phone (GTM+3 no
daylight savings)
Re-type your Mobile Email login settings (Phone number, password)
