Overview
The BlackBerry® Internet Service™ from Qtel provides you with access to up to 10
email accounts using advanced BlackBerry® Push email technology where the user
is always connected to his email. With BlackBerry® push email technology the
mails are received instantly on the BlackBerry® device.

Internet email accounts such as Qatar Net, Gmail, Premium
Hotmail, Premium Yahoo! can be easily set up from the BlackBerry® device in just 5
steps.

BlackBerry devices uses flash memory to protect data and
applications if the device crashes or the battery runs out.

Supported handsets:
The BlackBerry® service from Qtel is available with the following BlackBerry® smartphones: BlackBerry Bold 9000, BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900, BlackBerry® Pearl™ Flip 8220, BlackBerry® Curve™ 8310, BlackBerry® Curve™ 8320, and the BlackBerry® 8820 smartphone.

(*) these prices are for local usage only and based on the fare usage policy of 10MB per user. Roaming charges are charged separately as per normal data roaming tariffs and will appear on the individual bill.
(**) these prices includes the local package plus it includes a limited bundle of 8MB of roaming data usage, exceeding roaming data usage are charged as per normal data roaming data tariffs. Turning off/on data roaming can be done from the BlackBerry device by going to (on the device): Options > Mobile Networks > Data Services, where it provides 3 options: On, Off or Off When Roaming.

How to setup your email account on your device?
1. Verify your BlackBerry Smartphone is connected to the wireless network.
2. Click E-mail Settings.
3. Read the Legal Terms and Conditions carefully:
- Select Yes, indicating you have read and understood the Legal Terms and
Conditions.
- Click I Agree, to be bound by the Legal Terms and Conditions to continue with
the setup process.
Note: The BlackBerry Internet Service account is now configured.
4. Complete the appropriate steps to begin sending and receiving email messages.
- Add an existing personal or work email address.
- Create a BlackBerry Email Address

Add an existing personal or work email address:
1. On the Email Account Setup screen, enter your existing personal or work email
address and password. Click Next.
2. You will receive a successfully configured access to your email account
message. Click OK. The Services - email Account screen appears.
3. The Services - email Account screen provides an overview of the following:
- Integrated email addresses. - Add An Email Account option - allows the subscriber to integrate third-party
email accounts. -Services and Settings - designed to allow the subscriber to manage their
BlackBerry Internet Service account, including sending service books and
language. - Help - provides online help. - End User Agreement.

Create a BlackBerry Email Address
1. On the Create a BlackBerry e-mail address screen, enter a user name, password
and confirm password, secret question and secret answer.
2. Click OK.
3. You will receive a successfully configured access to your email account
message. Click OK. The Services - email Account screen appears.
4. From the Service - email Account screen, you may edit or delete each
email address, integrate another email account or go to the Service and
Settings screen.
