8. How to activate Prepaid BIS on my Hala prepaid card?

Simply send SMS to 92550. Please follow below steps for detail activation process.

9. How to activate Prepaid BlackBerry Internet Service from Qtel?
|

- Make sure your Hala balance is sufficient along with BlackBerry device battery fully charged.
- Hala prepaid subscribers to send SMS to premium SMS number 92550.
- One time activation fee will be deducted from Hala account balance.
- Hala subscribers will received SMS notification that prepaid BIS service request is under processed.
- Upon successful activation, Hala subscribers will receive notification SMS confirming that prepaid BIS request successfully activated.
- Once prepaid BIS is activated, Hala subscribers will see GPRS/EDGE/3G logo on top right corner of BlackBerry device screen as below in case subscriber is within 3G coverage.

- It is recommended that subscriber to perform device HARD RESET by turning off the BlackBerry device, take-out the battery, put the battery back and turn-on the BlackBerry device.
- Your prepaid BlackBerry Internet Service from Qtel is now active and you are ready to configure your emails, connected to your friends by BlackBerry Messenger and any other rich multimedia and social networking applications.

- Press BlackBerry symbol, go to Setup and E-mail Settings

- Read and agree on the BlackBerry Internet Service terms and conditions:

- Complete the appropriate steps to begin sending and receiving email messages.
- Add an existing personal or work email address.
- Create a BlackBerry Email Address e.g name@qtel.BlackBerry.com

11. How to add your existing POP3 email account from your BlackBerry device?

- Press BlackBerry symbol, go to Setup, E-mail Settings and Email setup.
- Type your User name and password that you just created on previous steps

- Select Add My Existing Email Account, complete your POP3 email address that you want to add into your BlackBerry device and type your email password.

- Upon successful activation, you will get your POP3 email account into your BlackBerry device.
- Your Qtel BlackBerry email account e.g name@qtel.BlackBerry.com can be created from this screen.
